Steering problems Xbox 360 controller
Is it just me, or has the latest update ruined the steering sensitivities when using a 360 controller? I've spent 30 mins trying to get it back to what it was, but I'm not having any luck. Any suggestions?

+1, although i`d rather be using my g27 wheel...its packed away waiting to move home so using my xbox 360 wireless pad, i did have to fiddle with the sensitivity and dead zones for steering and acceleration/brakes because i`d had a few months break from Ets2 and untested updates not to mention new updates to Promods/Rusmap and truck n trailer pack to install until i couldnt resist the urge to get back behind the wheel or should i say pad, didnt take long to find my ideal settings to cover me until i move....which looks like next year now

I am not seeing any changes here. I have always used the xbox wireless controller and still have the same response as I had before the last updates.

Not sure what the setting is called but it’s high up on the same page as deadzones where you can choose between wheel or controller original is wheel. I changed it over to controller and that solved my sensitivity issues.

Once in a million my controller settings ge messed, not sure it's a game issue but Windows or Steam related.

I've found that my settings mess up sometimes when I turn my controller off before turning off the game.

in the settings, check that the throttle type is not set to Wheel. Even though I had the 360 controlelr selected, it chose wheel instead of gamepad which is why it was so sensitive.

Under the main controller setup, make sure the controller subtype is set to "Gamepad, Joystick" and not "Wheel"
