test drive?
i always see people talking about test drive but i dont see a test drive button

where is it?

you cant test drive it, but you can buy it (only way)

You could take a quick delivery, where you choose the truck and not the trailer, then it would be a test drive.

Op wants to test a truck, not a trailer so he need to chose the quick deliveries, not the main market. And testing a truck without a trailer is the stupidiest thing ever.

There is a "Test drive unlimited" achievement. To get that you have to buy one of each brand of truck (not every model) and haul loads at least 999 km in each brand. I did that by initially buying a different brand of truck each time, "Drive it", then hiring a driver for previous truck.

Other than that there is only the quick jobs mentioned where you use their truck instead of yours and can try various trucks that way.

Now that I got the "Swimming in success" achievement (€450,000/day) I can afford to buy any truck (or garage) I want and have a number of different trucks scattered around that do not have hired drivers. I can switch (relocate) between the trucks whenever I want to (except while hauling a load).
