But you have to come down to below 45 kph or so to avoid running into the gate. ;)
The Telepass system in Italy makes you slow down a lot anyway, it's almost like stopping ;)
Slowing down to 30 km/h from 90km/h you are going does indeed seems like coming to a stop, BUT, speeding up again from 30km/h as opposed to starting again from being stationary is a HUGE difference in fuel consuption and time when you are driving a truck. At least in real life.
That's true, at least if you don't floor it ;)
But sometimes, especially in Italy (judging from my experience), you can end up being much slower than 30 (close to stopping).
That's why I wrote it...
Used to happen to me in real life when i was new to the job, nowadays i tend to get it right most of the time, i dont go under 25, unless the telepass system is not responding, which sometimes happens, then you really have to completely stop.
