Scania S Dashboard
So I am trying the new Scania S and looking at the new dash with the display using I key to toggle the screens and I don't understand what most of them are for like this one for example..

is there a page somewhere that explains each display function?

It's cruise control.

I guess this one is for cc.
Also other pages have the same functions as other truck's dasboard displays.
consumption or temp or speed etc.

No page, usually they are pretty self explanatory. The one you see there is for your CC aka Cruise Control (though in real life its actually an ACC system). In case you have your CC activated the digit in the center will display your currently set speed. The others, if i remember correctly - where remaining fuel display, fuel consumption currently / average / oil pressure - status of air pressure system for the service brakes. Feels like i missed one, but currently not ingame yet to check.

ok thanks got the CC part, but what does the graphic below the digits indicate?

It is indicating the adaptive cc in the original truck. But we do not have such system ingame so it is useless for now.

I'm using this topic to ask for something else about this dashboard...
I saw a lot of video where the first "icon" of the dasboard is "active" (i mean the first, the one with the truck before the cc info) and shows something about the load i guess and you can select by pressing " I " ingame like the others, buta actually in my truck (Scania S High Roof 730cv) it doesn't work, and also the other 2 icons, (looks like "Multimedia" and "settings" maybe?).
Does anyone knows why?
Thanks

I think that is for Midlift chassis. There is a button for raising and lowering the axle if you have the correct chassis.
Qlimax Jan 7, 2018 @ 12:12pm
you need midlift and taglift

Since I am italian, I clearly am missing something, but talking about Scania S (and I guess R also) NextGen dashboards, I read the writing “odom" over the writing “trip”. Now, the latter I understand, it's pretty obvious (also, one can reset it with a dedicated key, which seems useless, but from time to time it might prove useful), while the former, “odom”… what does it mean? Is it an acronym of some kind? Is it an abbreviation? I really cannot understand. I am aware of its FUNCTION (if I am correct, it shows the truck's total traveled KMs since day 1, I guess), but still, what does it mean? Thank you to everyone.

"ODOM" is short for "Odometer". So, "Trip Odom" is a trip odometer which you can reset with that key you noticed. It only counts the travel since the last reset of this meter.

Hmmm, I understand, but as I can see, while the TRIP KMs' number can in fact be reset, ODOM's cannot: in short, seems to me that it's just a progressive number representing KMs counting up the more I drive. So, I should think the two are not strictly connected – as perhaps I understood you implied – are they?
Anyway, thank you for you kind answer. :)
