Is there any way to modify quick drive trucks?
I got the HoundDog Skins for the in-game companies but I cannot modify quick-drive trucks, so I have to use my own truck instead. Is there any way of bypassing the lock wich forbids you to modify quick drive trucks?
Thanks in advance

Not that I'm aware of. But if you're going to lose the truck after the job anyway, then why not just use your own truck?

Because I like to use a variety of vehicles, and it would be good to modify a new vehicle from scratch every delivery. Its just the way I like to play the game

The quick jobs trucks are not yours, so no you can't modify someone else's property.

As do I. I swap my brand of truck after every load usually. At least with my own trucks, I don't have to reconfigure every time I swap.

You could modify how the Quick Job trucks look like, but it would require some editing of files that define truck in quick jobs.

No one explained it very wel. They aren't 'quick drive trucks', per se. You are working for another 'virtual' company in the game, using their truck (self employed/freelance) The employer pays you a wage for delivering the cargo. In return the employer picks up fuel cost, tolls and the wear and tear of the vehicle. You have no fixed contract so that's why you can then jump into another freelance contract job.

Still dont understand why you want to modify them. Alot of mod trucks show up in quick jobs, so you can get more trucks to choose from, I'm sure there are mods that make them more interesting too... Like mods that adds more lights and what not to the A.I trucks or liveries to trailers...

Other then that I dont get what you want here...

Buy your own truck, do what you want with that, progress, buy more trucks.... after a while you will have so many trucks you wont know what to do with them and money burning a hole in your garage! ;) Some people get 9 million £/€/$ a week in game... xD I never ever got that far, I tend to start new profiles too often... xD at most I've had 100 trucks and that was ages ago.

Besides personal opinion, all I really want to do is to disable the lock which disables being able to modify Quick drive trucks.

I know I am working for a virtual company, But I want to have the Company Truck Skins respective of the companies, which would be practically impossible, so an easier way to do so would be to simply disable the lock.

Hope this solves confusion :steamhappy:

My guess is it would involve more the just removing a lock.
