How to livestream ets2 to twitch?
Hi, I've a question.
How can i stream ets2 to twitch? I've tried with obs but the 'gamecapture' won't work, the 'monitorcapture' also didn't work. I tried nvidia shadow play, but with that i get always 'Broadcasting to Twitch has failed'. Can anyone help me?

Thanks a lot,
FarikoBeway

i can really advise to use OBS studio
got many useful options (especially for audio), it's easy to learn and free to use

what did you try with gamecapture?
you have to tab back into the game, so OBS can actually capture the game (and wait some seconds (~10), afterwards you can tab out and see the game in the preview)

Well, that's what i tried already. The gamecapture does something strange when i tab back to the game, i can only see my truck for 1/4 and if i go away from the menu, so ingame, it don't change. I've this problem only with ets2, games like minecraft or cs:go works fine with the gamecapture!

I streamed ets2 to twitch using obs, works fine, but I use 2 monitors so i can see obs/twitch on my 2nd screen while playing. I do use game capture like this https://i.imgur.com/pWgaue8.png
i got a related question while we´re at it: how much upload should i at least have for a stable stream? i´ll probably use Radeon ReLive... I use it for recording already and it´s very light on the performance.

Im assuming your meaning what bitrate you should use? well I neverr fiddled with it, i used the auto config in obs, its set itself to "video bitrate" = 6000, "audio bitrate" = 160. I stream in 1080p 30 fps., for some reason 30fps was what it recomended so i just used that.

Between 10 and 20 mbps is good enough

Twitch supports a max of 6mbit, including audio.
