Despite the name, a lot of people use it to take screenshots that would be impossible otherwise. Additionally, since this is neither competitive multiplayer nor VAC secured, it's not your problem but OP's.

Personally, I used CheatEngine to boost money when I created Profiles for MP. That way I could buy a truck immediately and get right into playing with friends. Without it, you have to play SP for a bit until you can afford a truck.

after 250+ profiles of all kinds of custom driving experiences and more in the making, i like to use cheat engine to tweak the game speed, depending on what im driving, what mods are installed in a paticular profile, to tweak engine response, to speed up ai etc etc.
i even use it to slow the game down, for many reasons.

yes, i must be cheating myself by making ets2 totally bespoke in whats become one the most enjoyable universal driving sims ive played.

and yep, dcmt is right. its a whole lot less painful when creating a ton load of mp profiles.
if you want to play mp without dolla and resources then by all means be my guest.
*makes a couple of grand from a delivery job*
*gets charged way way more for a total write-off @ the local mechanics due to some cabin jockey serving you the good old pirouette & barrel roll*

Ignore the warning, then. But if your anti-virus is marking a site as malware when that site is legitimate, how good is that anti-virus?

I don't know but it was expensive and I have not actually gotten a virus. It marked this and the Warcraft III patch as malware though.

Antivirus software can be overly aggressive and mark stuff that is harmless as malware. Pinball Arcade and Zacciria pinball had this issue with a antivirus software. I would make an exception and just download it. I think the reason its marked malware is because the installer comes with some programs that you have to opt out of or something like that. Annoying but easy enough to fix.

As for those crying about cheating... LOL.
Its a driving sim, FFS. If i wanna work my ass off to gather enough money to buy my own truck i might just keep doing that in real life (which i am, since im a truck driver IRL).
This game, just as every game, is about having fun. Customizing and owning trucks are fun things to do, and something i wont be able to do IRL for many years to come. There is nothing wrong with giving myself extra money to drrive my own truck. Its not like i become invincible in CoD or something unfair like that....

Change antivirus settings like you need to have some control too otherwise you wouldn't be able to download anything.
And as everyone knows you won't get a virus If you download from their site
