Issue with the gears

When I change the gear to the first one it shows 1C gear in the game then when I change the gear to 2 it shows 2C in the game and then when I change it to third gear it shows gear 1 in the game so how can I get rid of the C gears and make it normal 1-6 and 7-12?

Could you explain me how do I change it please.. I have it the transmission setted to range mode and never touched the settings and now it has somehow changed the settings to those random settings and cuz i'm pretty noob with in these things lol

C1 and C2 will always show as such whether you have it set to range or Scania/Volvo 12+2. That's to let you know that you are in a crawler gear. Gear 1 will always be in shifter position 3 when you have a +2 transmission and your shifter layout is set to range. The only way to get shifter position 1 to show as gear one when set to range is to switch to a normal 12 speed transmission. You probably upgraded to a 12+2 from a 12 speed and the +2 (crawler gears) are confusing you. Crawler gears are set to a very low ratio for starting you out on hills with a lot of weight to pull that's why they are always differentiated by a C.

But its weird that I didn't have those C gears before and now they're just there and actually hate those C gears because always been using the normal 1-6 7-12 gear system

1C & 2C are not meant to be used as some normal gear. They are crawler gears, that you only use with heavy trailer, or on an incline. Without any trailer or pulling a light load, you avoid 1C and 2C and use 1 directly. The automatic gearbox in the game barely even use these crawler gears.

TL;DR: 1C and 2C are not 1st gear and 2nd gear, there is no logical reasons to remove them.

Hmmm,i got a freaking prob sometimes. My gearbox choose a to high gear so that the engine is choking,i alway's have to go a manual gear - down. Hope SCS is gonna sort it out in the near future?

With an automatic gearbox, you can use the ' shift hint ' keys. If the engine is struggling or overrevving but the gearbox does not shift, these hints will make it shift, for a while, until the next time. Useful to cruise from 11th@1400RPM to 12th@1100RPM

There are also powermodes that dictates how the gearbox shifts, in eco mode it will stick to a high gear much longer for fuel economy, on normal its balanced and power mode it will rev abit more on each gear.

Can someone help me with this? I don't find a solution to my problem, from all the above.
I have my settings set to "range" and "simple".
Postion 1 on the shifter is gear C1 and 2 is C2, then 3 is gear 1. So this means for me 6 is only 4 in the game. Than I press the shifter toggle buttons and go back to position 1 on my shifter, but in game this is gear 11 and position 2 is gear 12 and there it stops. And I can't get it to fix....please help.

hi ill try explain...ok i use g920 my normal shift i use right paddle....ok this gear box assign a key to shift2 so i use left paddle. ok now we got c1,c2,1,2,3,4 use shift 2 we now got 5,6,7,8,9,10 now use shift1 you now have 11,12 in position 1&2 so from 12 use shift1 to go back down to 10 then shift2 to back to 4 ect ect hope this helps :)

So i read this thread because i had the same issue. You can modify your truck at a mechanic to make sure you have a certain number of gears. I myself use a logitech force shifter, and im using the 6 gear one. fixes the problem :D

Thank you so much all you guys i had the same issue and this help me but i have another problem and that is when i have swith truck it still have that problem with 1-2-3-4-5-6 and then 11-12 and why is that?
