ets 2 incompatibile in windows 10

Hi quys, is there any update or anything I need for my ets2 in windows 10, please? Was running exelent with windows 7, as soon I got new PC with W10 game starts after 10 min, windows stopped working. When I tried recomended settings with W7, game went to fattal error after 5 min or so, SCS support just asked for crash log a week ago, no answer since. Tried safe mode, tried to unninstal the game, steam, I am out of options, Its realy only two programs there are not compatibile with W10 in my case - ets2 + truckersMP
I cant be the only one with this problem, If enyone can give me a hint I would much appreciated it.

No. I'm am running ETS2 on Windows 10 and so are hundreds of other people.

Truckers MP has nothing to do with the developers of ETS2. It's a Third Party Mod

Running ETS2 on W10 without any (big) problems. The Creator's update brought some problems for a few people. I - fortunately - don't have it yet.

Have you tried running ETS2 in safe mode and/or without any mods? How about drivers (hardware, not truck)?

Hey, have you tried to go into your Euro Truck Simulator 2 directory (\Steam\steamapps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2\bin\win_x64)*, right clicking on the .exe folder, clicking on 'Properties'/'Compatability Mode', and selected 'Run this program in compatability mode for:' to Windows 10?

If it doesn't work, it is probably the .exe folder of TruckersMP.

*win_x64 = 64-bit
*win_x86 = 32-bit

I have never had one problem running ETS2 on Windows 10.

I know for sure they are hundreds people playing ets2 on W10 without problems, I am looking for those they are not so lucky like me with solution. Thanks for reply anyway.

I think your problem is related with the version of windows 10 you are running.
Check your version and update it till latest version.
Windows update doesn't always update to latest version, mine never did and I always have to do that manually.

Yes, check your Windows 10 version.

It should be: Version 1703 (OSBuild 15063.540)

Got this pc a week ago, and yes checked 10 minutes ago, yep, latest version. I am close very close, tried those compatibility settings, but only gave me 4 options: VWin 8, 7, Vista or I dont know. Like Pc is trying to check previous versions. Tried all, only few km I could do Cant find the option Cariote mentioned. Run this program in compatibility mode : Windows 10.

Your already running Windows 10 so no need to set it to run in Windows 10 compatability mode. It should just work.

Sounds like your windows, drivers and what ever aren´t properly installed... I´m using W10 now for almost a year and never had any trouble with any game, new or old...

Just for info: compatibility mode is just for "faking" an older operation system, so that programs (like games) optimized for older systems will run smoother. no need for a "win 10 mode", since win 10 is running on your computer... it´s not for "making your hardware compatible with Windows 10", if that´s what you think... that´s what grafics-, sound- and chipset/ mainboard-drivers are for :) (and some other things)

Thanks for info, got half life (1998) game, works fine. Since is build pc, something might go wrong, warranty will cover it, worse scenario I will ask for Windows 8.1 or whatever.
