External Contract Expiring question

For example, there is an external contract, that will expire in 12 hours. If I take the job, save the game, leave and than return a day later, will the contract expire and the job will be failed?

Yes. It expires in real time.

Yup it will fail if you don't complete it the 12 hours real time, time does not pause for external contracrt loads when you stop playing as they are tracked by the online server.

External contracts are subject to real time, not game time. The timer on the contract is real time, and does not stop if you exit the game. Good thing is, you have more time to complete the job in most cases. Bad thing, you can't walk away from the game if you have something to do.

When I took trailer with 24+ hours and exit game. Next day I entered game and got 5-6 hours left.
