G920 Wheel not detected in ETS2
I'm having real problems getings ETS2 to recognise I have a G920 attached. I've reinstalled the LGS software, updated the firmware, calibrated via windows 10 peripheral app and changed USB ports (hubs, direct connection). Needless to say it works fine in other games like project cars, dirt 4 etc. If I connect an Xbox One controller it reconises thats attached (and I've tried it with and without the controller attached to see if thats the conflict).

I saw one post mentioning problems with USB 3.0 - is this true? Thats going to be a game killer for me as my new PC only has USB 3 and USB c ports. Any other workarounds?

I had trouble with ATS recognizing my G29 via the wizard. However, since I used the LGS software to assign keys to the buttons, I bypassed ther Input Wizard and have no issues.

One other recommendation to try from Logitech:

• Powercycle the device.

1. Unplug the wheel from the power supply and computer.
2. Unplug the pedals from the wheel.
3. Wait for 15 seconds before reconnecting the pedals to the wheel.
4. Reconnect the wheel to the computer and power supply.
5. Test and observe if the issue is gone.

Unfortunately, Logitech does recommend a USB 2.0 port vice 3.0. You could add a USB 2.0 card to your PC, but using LGS is cheaper and faster.

Something about ETS2/ATS makes the Logitech wheels not get recognized by the Input Wizard. Weird...

This makes sense - I got it to work intermiottently between reboots, as in it worked after a reboot once but then stopped again a day later when i tried again

Had the same problem, here is how I fixed it for me:
1. Go to Big Picture Mode
2. Go to your game library
3. Find ETS2 and click on it
4. Click "Manage game" on the left side
5. Click "Controller Options"
6. Set "Use Steam Configuration for Non-Steam Controllers" to "Global Setting (None)". My setting was on "Forced (on)" and the wheel wasn't recognized.

hi can someone help me i have a problem with my g920

Grasping at straws but if the wheel does not appear in the dropdown list of controllers so you can select it, try selecting anything that does appear in the dropdown list, ie "kb and mouse". That might force the game to scan for available controllers to refresh its list. I once had success doing that.

Thank you Red, your solution of managing controller options worked. The loss of G25 control link only happened after I downloaded map "essentials" pack. Been searching and retrying driver options etc.etc. until I found your advice. Back "behind the wheel" again!

For anyone who sees this. Do what he says at the end of the video, or try everything in the video. It will save your time and it will work.
Then calibrate your wheel until everything is working fine with your Controller Settings from Windows.
