Some experienced DAF Trucker needed (just a quick question)
So, i started a new profile with a DAF XF Euro 6. Lovely truck, but there is one thing i fail to understand - the fuel gauge. It consists of two parts, the normal looking one, and then the LED stripe next to it. What i don't get, they don't match. Question therefore is... just a visual bug or do they (and thats what i think atm) show different things.

Left part is crystal clear, total amount of fuel left in the tank. But right still continues to show 3 blue, 1 red even in case the game says i run out of fuel. Is the right part evaluating expected distance with the data (fuel left, average fuel consumption) it has? Thats really the only thing i could think of and which would make sense to some degree. Even when the game starts crying about fuel i usually still have enough left to go several 100 km.

it´s probably the Add-Blue indicator, a fuel additive...
The left gauge is for fuel and the LED Stripe is for Ad-Blue

Ugh.. right, that could be it. As you don't have to refuel it seperatly i tend to forget about that stuff. Thanks for reminding me *cough* Happens when you are only an armchair trucker :D

I can confirm that
The analog one on the left is the diesel tank and the LED is the adblue gauge...
If you want to see how many km/miles you can go with your current fill, you can also use the display's digital fuel and consumption page...

Unfortunately, you don't have to care about AdBlue at all.
I'd love to see that feature in the game, so that you should never ever forget the AdBlue gauge ;)

AdBlue doesn't get added to the fuel, it gets injected into the exhaust gas.
