Pedals are switched.
My left pedal is use for gas and my right pedal is used for brake. I've gone through the set up wizard many times but it keeps on making the left pedal the acceleration pedal.
Any help to switch?

As I have literally no info on your setup, and can't search through other similar issues, all I can say is reverse your pedals. Move your right pedal to the left, left to the right. If it is hardwired, try using a different dash. There are typically two variants. Normal and UK. I am unsure if it makes any difference though, I'm just guessing.

Which pedals are you using?

So don't use the wizard. Maybe your wheel is not totally recognized (what brand/model?).

In regular wheel settings, click on what to use for accelerator and press that pedal all the way down. Chose what to use for brake and press that pedal all the way down.

Clear any bindings for acceleration and brake in the non wizard portion of the control setup, then run the wizard. Make sure the slider moves properly during the wizard for the correct pedal. Past that, maybe verify file integrity? Past that, reinstall your wheel drivers.

Im using the Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 - It isn't the best steering wheel but it will do for me and its cheap.

When I am in setup and press the acceleration and put my foot down, the sliders moves up on the brake instead of the acceleration.

It would work perfectly on my laptop (which is a mac) but it's reversed on my desktop.

In normal wheel setup menu, you should be able to click on the button for what axis is being used for throttle, hit the gas pedal and it should assign the proper axis for that, Likewise press button showing axis for brake and hit the brake pedal to assign proper axis for that.

Yeah just for future reference and google karma the fix for this is to set the base switch to ps3, and make sure the mode light next to that is red. Confirm by going into the control panel for thrustmaster and that the correct axis moves when the peddle is pushed. My daughter made me troubleshoot this about a week after this post as she likes to play with things that dont belong to her. I have the same base, but a different wheel.

I had the same problem, this was the fix:
In game go to controls. Up top I have "keyboard + Wheel (Ferrari 458)
Controller subtype: Wheel
Transmission: Automatic simple
etc
etc
etc
Acceleration axis: Joy Z axis
Acceleration axis dead zone: Zero (bar is set to the left most)
Acceleration axis mode: Centered
Brake Axis: Joy Z axis
Brake axis dead zone: Zero (bar is set to the left most)
Brake Axis mode: Inverted and centered.

This fixed it. Now the right pedal accelerates and the left pedal brakes.
