also understand scs with releasing the ats beta before ets makes sense i mean people play ets 2 more than ats so i see where yeah maybe they lied butunderstand 5 year old game or 2 year old game one can have bugs one may not its not exactly predictable . im american and i don't exactly like ats ahah i play ets 2 all the time ive uninstalled ats like 2 days don't plan on playing it for atleast a year lol the physics are just horrible for ats it feels like ets 1.4.1
My point is to just wait until a mod comes out that spawns them elsewhere. SCS will let them spawn where they find out it is legal to operate them as time goes on. Want to speed up the process, push for change in the laws where doubles like those in Scandinavia are not allowed.
They have basic things in common (company in the same industry and simple stuff), but that's about it.
SCS's DLC policy is fair, reasonably priced and good, while EA is just money or bust...
As far as i know the heavy cargo dlc was not reduced in price during the summer sale....neither for ats or ets2.....
I don't know, but you shouldn't label SCS as just another EA because you're frustrated with pricing. Be thankful that you have a great simulator that you don't need to spend tons of money to get more fun out of it like games such as Train Simulator.
I get it, it is still a little expensive. But when you think about it, SCS is asking for way less money from you than other devs do, and the DLCs add quite a bit to the game.
I don't know, this is just my opinion.
My point is, if someone really likes the game and what it is about, why would i leave out content that basically adds to that very core of the game? Okay, now i get that 17 bucks (or whatever it is in your currency) is money to some, no problem. But i dunno, i would at least expect those who really like the game to pick that stuff up during sale.
I don't know you, but every time i see threads like that, be it here or in any other game, i really start to think the "Geiz ist geil" advertisment that was used here in Germany some years back really made it into the heart of people.
i dont know why but they dont want to edit the original map (nederlands, germany, austria, belgium).. where they are perfectly allowed by law to be driven.. but they could add them to france where they also are allowd.
dont know whats going on there with scs and what there thinking is.. i think its time for an other interview with pavel and squirrel!!
ETS 2 got the Heavy Haul DLC FIRST, ATS got it second. Now ATS gets the beta first and ETS 2 gets the beta second. Now all of a sudden there's ETS 2 players who are pissed off just because ATS got something first? Grow up. Both games have different regulations, both games are developed separately. Just because the games are developed by SCS doesn't mean everything will get released at the same time. Both games will also varry in content due to the regulations.
