Best truck for start?

The truck you best like to have. :)
There several different meanings about whats truck is best to start with, Personaly I'll say Volvo FH16, but I think other will say Scania or something else.
I think my best advise will be: Try test drive several trucks by choosing some different trucks to do some quick jobs.

i always get the MAN because its one of the only v8 trucks, and scanias are expensive as hell so yeah

Volvo FH 2013. Cheap and can be upgraded to become the most powerful tractor at the high-end. She also looks agressive, leaning forwards as if she's ready to pounce something. That tractor is a buy once, drive forever kinda girl that's also fun to drive while being predictable and dependable.
IRL I'm a DAF-guy, having driven DAF for years, but in ETS2 there's no better tractor than the Volvo FH 2013.

MAN doesn't manufacture trucks with V8s any longer.
It's only Scania who got V8s in their trucks now.
For a starter truck Volvo is a strong solid choice. Very high quality and power too.

Any DAF :-) but honestly there is no better than this or that,... just get the one you like.

I recently started to use Sim-Dashboard and it has a real XF Dashboard. It's pretty sweet display, making the choice to drive a FX in ETS2 easy. Still needs more mods to make it great though, like a heavy haul chassis mod and some minor cosmetic mods. It's sad how limited in choices some trucks are.
