Choose long distance job, and if there has ADR,high value or fragile, plus important or urgent delivery all together, then you can get more XP.

Always park the trailer yourself. And it's a tiny bit but for every 100km driven without trailer you get 50xp. Can make sense if you rush on the motorway with idk like 150km/h.

A star icon means high value.

Yep, fragile is a broken glass, adr has the respective adr badge and important and urgent have two blue or three red arrows respectively.

I hate to revive old topics but this came up when I googled it, so I thought I'd leave my findings here for others to see.

You gain 50XP per 100km of driving in free-roam, but that's honestly a waste of time. Here's a list of bonus XP per delivery type:
  • ADR: 21% bonus XP
  • Long distance: 25% bonus XP (on tours longer than 250km, past that no additional bonus)
  • High Value Cargo: 18% bonus XP
  • Fragile Cargo: 22% bonus XP
  • Important Deliveries: 20% bonus XP
  • Urgent Deliveries: 30% bonus XP

From this, I can advise you to skill ADR completely, long distance once, fragile once and just-in-time twice. Anything more than that will just increase the amount of money bonuses. Note that ADR can't be a high value cargo from what I've seen, so it can only be combined with urgent, fragile, and long distance bonuses.

So, finally, the best delivery will have this:
  • Any ADR requirement
  • At least 250km land distance (meaning excluding ferries)
  • Fragile cargo
  • Urgent cargo

That doesn't make much sense given the rest of your advice. You only need a single ADR skill to maximise XP bonuses but (in this context) there is no point in acquiring ADR 3 or 8 because neither has any fragile cargoes. When you factor in availability of cargo then you probably only need 2 and/or 4 and you're good to go, so the sequence should probably be a point in long distance, two points in just-in-time, a point in fragile and then points in ADR 4, 2, 1 and 6 in that order.

The other factor that you omitted to mention is that the basis for XP is distance driven, so those bonuses stack on a base of 1 XP per kilometre and when you find a job with all of the necessary bonuses you want it to be as long as possible.

Bottom line: fastest way to gain XP (without cheating) is Quick Jobs, sorted by route length descending and take the first job listed that is ADR, fragile and urgent.

Of course, you might also care to factor in income too, which changes the advice.

Do jobs in Germany and speed excessively. Germany has few speed cameras, unless it has changed recently. Don't speed in the Baltics, particularly Latvia, they have a speed camera fetish.
