Best way to spend SKILL points
I am new and I spent all my 4 skill points to "long distance"
Now I a, wondering if this was a fault.

What are the best ways to spend skill points to get :

1)
XP

2)
money

3)
and what is best in regard of the AI employes later....
which skill points they need most to be most effective? (they will get my skill tree I guess?)

I also read this from another player :

".....Not a good plan. With longer trips, you get XP for each km plus bonus XP for each KM. For instance, at Long Distance Lvl 6, you earn 1.3 XP for each km. So, 1000 km earns 1300 XP. However, four short trips of 250 km, earn only 1000 XP and takes more work and more time."

But I guess he didn't see that "just in time" will give also a multiplayer to the four short trips of 250 km... and the maneuvering XP.....so maybe same effective at the end ?
so I don't know which is more time/money/xp effective now.

Considering the time (x4) driving low speed in the speed limited cities and the time for maneuvering at the companies (x4) maybe is more time consuming which leads to :
the long distance is winner?

How about ADR ?

No. Your skill points are separate from hired drivers.
you can, however, choose what skill set they "concentrate on", or leave it "balanced" meaning they add to skill points evenly across the board as they progress.

Speaking of balanced, that's also the way I did it. It depends on who you talk to as to the "best" way, but the end result is the same: after a certain amount of time you are making SO much money that you won't know what to spend it on.
Those that tell you that one way is a "faster earner" than another are talking in terms of a few "game weeks" difference. Honestly, it doesn't matter.
Yes, there'll be people who'll argue the point and start quoting figures but at the end of the day it's about driving your truck.
Your hired drivers are like Transformers. Wind 'em up and let 'em go.

Multiplayer is a mod and as such does change the economy data file(s). Essentially, you're playing someone else's game.
That's fine, but bear in mind that you should have a separate profile for multiplayer. Not doing this and going back to play the standard game will mess up your economy to no end.

You really should have got at least level 1 in Fragile, High Value and, Just in time as these open up more job types and better payoffs.

ADR and Long distance after that.

thank you for your info. I take it slow and see ETS as a long term fun game. Just didn't want to end in a one-way.

oh, multiplayer messes up my single player game ?
1)
In which way. money or XP or fleet of trucks or AI employes or everything?
2)
Does WOT also mess up my single player ?

Muiltiplayer is on a different time scale then single player, if you play multi player then switch to sigle player your hired drivers will make you millions instantly.

WoT is SCS website, it will not mess up your single player as it is in single player. They are just external contract loads that are tracked on the website.
