City car driving and Euro truck 2 for practice?
I got ETS 2 and like to ask is it worth it getting City Car to practice how to use the car and doing things like parking? Or is ETS2 all you need and are the cars mod good enough?

Its not worth downloading City Car.Ets 2 car mods are twice as good,so are the graphics.

It is not worth buying City Car Driving, i saw the graphics by a friend of me, highest graphics and still not good. And just as William Afton said, the cars in ets2 are much better.

Thats depending on what controls you are using: City Car is fine with keyboard and steering wheels.Ets 2 cars are sometimes hard to control with a keyboard, but steering wheels are fine

I got a steering wheel and apart from graphics is it really that bad from ETS2 if your using it for car practice? Or should I just stick with ETS2 and car mods? If your concern is not about learning how to drive a car then ETS2 would be better.

So still rubbish or ETS2 is just better?

In my opinion,Ets 2 is better. But in simulation they are pretty much the same.

thank you afton i just thought that since car driving is about cars it would simulate it better then ETS2? Or is there still no differences? And ETS2 is still better in every where even with mods?

Ets 2 is better because of the graphics aspect, and with simulation that one of the most important parts of the experience.City Car drivings graphics isnt that good, but it does simulate how you would actually drive in real life very well

But could you do things in City car with ETS 2 as I got this game already? I have watched the videos of city car driving and even in parking you can do that in ETS2? So would you also get City car driving or just forget it and not waste the money if everything can be done in ETS2? The simulation is the same and your still driving on the road and does it matter if its a truck. City car does not have complex road routes like in real life. However ETS2 you can drive for a long time and see different intersections?

Well unless you use a truck and do jobs in ets 2,its more of a free roam game. Some roads in ets 2 are quite difficult and very complex to navigate.

Sorry for being slow, is this to practice driving for an upcoming real world test? IF so, definitely don't buy another sim - driving is going to cost you enough as it is! ETS2 would be enough to practice and get your head thinking more car even without mods - without a trailer, a truck is just a big car with too many gears :)

Whether you are learning auto or manual car, it's still probably good to do some practice with gears in the game (on a car mod), as that knowledge can help even with an auto; my wife's car has 1st, 2nd, and hold at 3 as options as well as the default "go forwards gear" and "go backwards gear". It's helpful to know gears just for normal driving. For example, when it's reall wet, I tend to pull away in second in that car as it's pretty small and it reduces the chance the tires slip... or there's a section of pretty hilly road near my wife's work, if I have to borrow her car, I tend to engage the hold at three mode so it doesn't switch to 4th as I come down one hill and leave me short on power climbing the next (70km/h road).

City Car Driving is just junk and boring. Try ETS2. It's much for fun.

I already got ETS2 everyone. :)

Thank you BN its for real life driving practice. :) So thank you for warning me not to buy City car. I think you got a good point that you can practice in a truck and did not realize that.

Do you or anyone have any good car mods that are good to practice in? And do you know if the grear transmission will be that of a car instead of a truck? And should I use cheats to unlock the entire region of ETS? So I can drive anyway?

I found a good youtube video on this mod: Good mod to use?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43kSUz7zqX4

And where do I buy the Mod car in ETS2? Some of the mods don't tell you where to buy their cars or trucks?

I also have dirt rally so lots of practice there for gear change but have not touched it yet! :)

I have not tried out ETS2 but it looks like the road are all straight so what kind of intersections will you see? I also got going East and Scan map.

What challenge can the roads bring to ETS?

On ets2.lt are good car mods, i personally like the soda superB the most, but if you want a fast car the audi a8 is one of the best, but for driving practice the skoda superB is the best. The place where you can buy it is in YouTube reviews. Good luck!

Cheers.

I have watched reviews on cars are not very good as they go very fast or sometimes flip over? So does Skoda drives well with out any funny glitches?
