Game is minimizing

I haven't played ETS2 for a month, and yesterday when I resumed playing, the game kept minimizing. And when I click on it's taskbar button, nothing happens, I can't get back into the game, so I have to kill it through task manager.

Anyone else having this?

Nothing changed in my computer, except that I bought a Logitech G27 exactly two days ago, and that's when my problems started.

This only happens in ETS2. Race07, Assetto Corsa, GTR2, all work fine.

This is normally caused by something running in the background that tries to take priority forcing what ever is fullscreen to minimise.

Unfortunately there's no really way to answer what it is, it's really a case of opening task manager killing any unneeded background task and seeing if it stops happening.

What's weird is that this only happens in ETS2. And what's more weird is that I can't resume playing, if I click on ETS2 there's audio but no video.

Maybe other games are more " protected " against alt-tabbing, are more CPU hungry thus preventing incidentally alt-tabbing.

But I'm not alt-tabbing :/ All I'm doing is accelerating and moving the wheel.

I have the same problem with both ETS2 and ATS.
Only those 2 games, and it only does it once each time I play.
I just click on the icon in the task bar and everything is normal for the rest of my time playing, so it's not too big a problem.

I tried removing all mods. No luck.
Probably a windows 10 update is the cause.

Ive had same issue recently...turned out to be some ssd monitoring software running in the background

I tried two things:

- End two processes which I don't remember the name (but they weren't important)
- Set the screen mode (while IN GAME IN ETS2) from "Full Screen" to "Windowed", then back to FullScreen

Seems the problem went away here.

I've had this problem for about a week and it seems to affect other games as well (Assetto Corsa). Fortunately it seems to happen only once per game started, alt+tab back to game once and then it seems ok.

The screen mode trick seems to have worked for ETS2 and ATS (both games same problem).
Ran each game once without incident. A few more runs will be needed to be sure.

Im having the same problem , i get micro stuttetings, then the game minimizes, but i can still listen the game going on, alt tab dont bring the game back, any ideas?

Same problem. It started happening from last week I think.
