Automatic Adaptive Transmission Power Modes?

Hi, can anyone explain the difference between the various power modes for the Automatic Adaptive Trasmission (high, normal, eco) and when is best to use each type?

Is high for high BHP trucks or for when you are towing a particularly heavy load and I assume eco is for saving fuel and I guess normal for everything else?

My understanding of it is : when & how you gearbox should shift gear. It isn't directly related to heavy load or high BHP but the engine's RPM (Eco between 900 & 1300; Normal between 1200 & 1600; High between 1500 & 1900). In short, the truck reactiveness and fuel consumption.
