'Driven Distance' and speed discrepances
So here's four screenshots, taken at the same game time.

See how 'Driven Distance' field is inconsistent between different info screen? Other trucks' info screen show similar oddities. I'm driving MB on screenshots since day one, so no, no other drivers involved. Also, I've noticed the speedometer is showing me driving faster than I actually am, AI trucks doing 80 km/h limit are noticeably faster than me.

Possible cause? This truck has Michelin tires installed, which are a bit larger than stock ones, so IRL the speedometer would actually lie with numbers LOWER than actual speed. :) Also the gearbox is an overdrive one, but this shouldn't have any influence over the displayed speed.

So should we consider this a bug? Also, why the Route Advisor speed, which is supposed to be read from GPS, is similar to (allegedly WRONG) truck speedometer readings?

Any devs visit this forums, or should I double this post to official SCS forums?
Oh, and the game is pure vanilla, no mods ever.

UPD
And notice the differences between resettable and non-resettable odometer readings on fourth screenshot. Guess what? I've never reset that. :) So they just can't read different -- but they do. :)

Driven distance is in chart 1 competed jobs together, others show current situation.
Route advisor uses 62km/h to averige speed and it's only prediction, I always drive faster time.
All is normal, just keep on trucking. :)

'Drive distance' shows jobs distance combined with idle distance. And I didn't mention anything about Roude Advisor predictions.

Chart 1 updates only when job finished, rest are current progress.
Yes, I misread last one and bigger tyres will show in dashboard less than real GPS, just like RL.

Thanks, never noticed that.

Problem is, it looks like they're actually showing MORE km/h than I'm really doing.

Any guess about two dashboard ODOs showing different numbers? :)

No, I haven't even bind a key to trip reset and other trucks (don't remember to seen any) don't show trip meter readings?

So I think I've been wrong about cheating speedometer -- now it looks like the AI likes to break speed limits. Wherever the truck limit is 80 km/h (all over German highways, for example), I have to go 86-87 km/h to keep up with AI trucks, no exceptions. On single lane German roads (60 limit), they are doing about 64-65, but I didn't test that enough. In France, where the limit is 90 km/h, they drive at precisely 90, so the limiter is ok.
Now, maybe there's hidden 10% speed limit tolerance all over Europe, and I'm the only v-trucker who doesn't know about it? O.o

Yes, I don't remember exactly, but in 80kph limit area 6x4 trucks drive ~73-80 kph, 4x2 truck drive ~84-89 kph and cars have too 2(?) category ~78-84 kph and ~85-92 kph?
You can study yourself by extracting def.scs file, if I remember right...
