Haven't watched or read anything about the new R series (assuming you aren't referring to the old one) but have had a nosey at the S series ye'll only find it out by hearing about it or finding something to read.

The Scania S has a higher cab for more space, it also has a flat cabin floor like the Scania T. The Scania R has the normal cab setup with engine tunnel like we know from the current R series.

Really looking forward to the S series in game. While the R-Series is still one of the best trucks in game, imho - it sadly didn't match my liking when it came to optics. The cabin just felt... well, not right for my personal taste (not inside, but outside - that buldge above the windscreen). What i see regarding the S series however, is spot on. I really like it.

Also Scania S-series is only available with automatic transmission while R-series has an option of manual (irl).

IRL Scania R has better fuel economy (23l/100km avg.) because it's lower and lighter. Haven't tested it in-game. Idk if it relates
