ETS2 Random Lag Spikes???

Hey,
When I play ETS2 for maybe 2 minutes it runs smoothly at 30 fps, however, after about 2-3 minutes the game starts getting repetitive lag spikes. They are not random, it seems like a pattern. It goes from 30 fps to 15, back to 30, back to 15, and it does this forever.

Changing the graphical settings does nothing. I have the graphic settings set to "LOW".
Changing the affinity to one core or two cores only make it worse, sometimes dropping to 5 fps.
It's not a computer temperature problem since I have the fan maxed out and also have a laptop cooler.
Graphics card drivers are updated.

Maybe because I'm running Windows on my Macbook Pro via Bootcamp???
Help!!!!

I also recorded it, however, it doesn't look too bad in video, however it's very annoying in person.
Focus on the white road stripes in the video and you can clearly see the lag spikes.

(also I was playing on multiplayer. this problem also occurs in singleplayer)

American Truck Simulator does not have this problem, maybe I should go back....

Macbook Pro Mid-2012
Intel Core i5 at 2.5ghz
Intel HD Graphics 4000 1 GB (yes, integrated graphics)
6 GB RAM
480 GB SanDisk SSD (not a hard disk)

The simptoms you are describing are similar to that of auto-saving. I also have this problem, but the games are reversed. Stuttering in ATS, but not ETS2.

I don't think the game auto saves every 2 seconds though.plus I have an SSD
