Slipped! Is that a side slip with the whole truck moving without any turned wheels or not? Was thinking maybe 'sticky keys', Controller having issues or lag otherwise.

nope the steering wheel was sright and the truck just sliped to the side

Wondering if it repositioning of the truck due to game lag!

A partial answer. Have you tried the trailor without the mods just in case one of them is conflicting?

I have been having that on an iveco truck as well...an uncontrollable steering , making you go left right left right left..etc barely bumping into the sides of the highways...with any counterwise traffic i would be in deep trouble. This was with the controller. Other trucks i hadnt had it yet (so far)

I have that when moveing vanilla coal trailers and I do not run mods is the game simulating a loose load of stuff in the tipper.

yeah i can add, my trailer was an open trailer , and no roof (like a long stretched bucket) as well

I'm having this problem too. Iveco truck with open trailer full of gravel and playing with a controller, the truck keeps veering off suddenly to the left or right. I've nearly wrecked my truck a couple of times now it's no fun and I had to stop playing. I don't run any mods.

If you use the keyboard you will have no problem. I have been having the same problem with my controller

Wondering if it's a particular controller issue, general or ETS controller code itself! What controllers are you all using?

I have the Logitech G29 and have not had this happen.

Cant be helped just dont haul those loads my freind just dont. Finnish of the deleivery when aproching corners slow down remember that you have a load that shifts and has momentum and I mean erally slow down on some of the autobarn in germany the corners may seem fine but they are not.

and once you have finnaly limped to the delevery point and lost some money dont ever touch them again.

i learned this the hard way my self when I first started playing 600+ hours play time ago.

Dont feel dishartend or down these loads just suck to haul. My freind

BTW i use a XBOX 360 controller as well FYI.

I had an Logitech controller i be driving and all sudden my truck would go right and i get damaged even though i did not turn etc. Turns out it was my controller I changed it to an X box one and it has not happened since wish I got an x box controller the 1st time round but i never had issues with Logitrech stuff before and i just did not want something with x box on it as am on PC and dont have a X box lol

try another wheel or controller :)

I had same problem but its pretty much easy to fix it. All you need to is go in Game Settings and drop down Steering Sensitivity. Also drop down a little steering inlinearity but not too much cause of more real physics. Tweak those two till you find best setup for u.

I'm playing with the keyboard and I picked up a small trailer that looked like it held gravel. I didn't pay attention to the load information. Anyways as soon as I got up to speed, the entire truck started snaking across the 3 lanes uncontrollably. The slightest touch of left or right input made steering wheel in game stick and toss the truck wildly across the lanes of traffic. I was doing a World of Trucks delivery. Think it was some type of lag or are those little trailers secretly evil ninja assassins?

Thanks for the advice I'll give it a go. It's really long distance, from western France to Sweden and I haven't got out of France yet.

I use the XBOX 360 controller as well.

UPDATE: I was able to get the load there without further steering problems taking it slow and trying to be extra smooth around the corners. I even managed to squeak it in on time. I would take a loose load like this again if the pay is right and it's not too far. Thanks again for the advice it really helped.
