How about do something about the constant crashing? Also, I turned internet off before launching the game to play offline, and textures weren't loading in right. care to explain that?

I think it's possible that it's on your end? I have such a poor framerate, and yet never have I crashed before. Just some game freezes, but that's only because it's on my part.

I agree. Palicoes have been here ever since the beginning of Monster Hunter history. It CANNOT be swapped out for a dog companion.
As for Rise, it's also true: there IS a dog mount, but it's also a companion as well! If you set it as the primary companion, you'll be with that Canyne (the dog species in Rise) when joined by other players, rather than being with two companions (only when solo).
But, if you still don't want the cat companion to join you on your quests, you can always let them stay at the tent. It's kinda like "not" having a Palico...ish? I'm not sure, since I always bring my Palico.

untrue, unless they just decided to replace them with chacha in Tri
but i thought Palicos only were added in world
there were only NPC endemic life felynes and Lynixes( the thief ones, annoying bastards) in Tri

Just letting you know that Palicoes are also Felynes as well. So, technically: not "only NPC endemic life Felynes and Lynians" in Tri. Speaking of, I wouldn't mind letting them bring back Lynians! Not the ones living off the areas, but wandering Melynxes that steal your items! (cute bastards)
And I don't think they will replace Palicoes with Cha-Chas...unless an expansion DLC says otherwise (which it'll be a long while for one).

hmm i thought they might have been the same race, i just meant as hunting companions though, i thought world was the first game to have them as a NPC companion

I deleted it from my computer until the slow textures are fixed and the optimization is improved.

The game would be good enough but... why do you tell us you worked on the game stability issues? I mean... maybe... it got worse!

I play on RogAlly Z1 Extreme.
Potato PC? It is. But it ran the game with 35-45 fps with frame gen on and medium settings without crashes, 3-6 hours for several days. If it crashed it did at specific parts of the game. Frame gen off --> done that part --> frame gen on again and it was good for another several hours.

You did some update and it always crashes with frame gen on.
But it was ok with 25-35 fps, at least with medium settings....
Another update: Crashes every time on medium settings (fg still of). Also on lowest settings I have 20-30 fps.

So why do I need to play on lowest settings with 20 fps on a PC that capable to run it much better?

(Of course I've done the driver check and other ideas...)
