Runs like a dream with default settings

Love that bit where the guy just powerwalks straight into the child and shoves her out of the way. She just sorta slides silently aside.

Averaged 60fps. Doesn't mean much in practice since the cutscene FPS at the beginning and the food section at the end were around 70 and the "gameplay" section was mostly stuck around 45 to 50. Barely managed the 20000 points with Low Ray Tracing on and custom settings (averaged around medium).

Nice to have the option to turn motion blur, vignettes and depth of field off... Now the natural progression would be to DEFAULT them to off.... and then to just erase the concepts entirely from existence because absolutely nobody in the entire history of humanity has ever wanted motion blur nor vignettes... and depth of field would only make sense to hide the pop-in when the game is trying to render an entire field of grass, assuming the game doesn't bother with mipmap textures (which I'm pretty sure it doesn't).

Would like to know why there were weird boxy pixel effects everywhere.
But I'm satisfied I'll be able to play the game, and I'll be able to do more fine-tuning when I get the game for real.
I just wish when it said "English" that it actually meant it, rather than yankie-doodle murican nonsense. "Optimizing" my arse. Get your zeds out of here.

not quite the same CPU ive got a 7800X3D but same GPU I've got coming in my new PC, Thank you for sharing this, I dont need ultra or 1440 so it bodes even better for me

i just know i'm refunding my pre-order because if there's another area and it runs more like the grass fields then the barren desert, i've been scammed 14 hours in, past the refund period.

It actually looks mutch cleaner and smoother. And is also open world. I played the beta with perma 100FPS+ 4070 and I7 13700K.

rtx 3050 works fine at medium-high settings in world iceborne with 60+ fps always.
this absolute garbage (which doesn't bring anything new in graphics than world) gets 28 fps at low settings and 42 fps at very low (both options are ugly and look terrible)....
I can imagine how the game will come out with denuvo, just thinking about it makes me laugh so hard at how pitiful the optimization will be.

well every game this days need a 8-12 GB Vram. This game is open world so its no wonder u need this specs. Compared to worlds. There are no loading screens for changing quests etc. And they use a newer and mutch cleaner engine. If you cant see this ur just blind. Ur lucky that they dont use UE otherwhise u would have max 10 FPS. xD Ur card is not even mid range and not build for this game. If you dont upgraded yet to 8-12 or better 16 GB Vram ur just stupid or poor idk sry.

cant be, if he have 3060 or 3070 he would be over 60FPS with frame gen and DLSS2. But 3050 yeah maybe max 40.

you need to underclock or lower ur cores when u use intel 13th. Got same issue in every newer game.

It Is absolutely a disgrace for the game to run this poorly with cards like the 2080 and the 3060 with framegen and dlss. And calling people poor for not wanting to buy an insanely overpriced gpu just to get playable framerates Is just absurd. Please go and touch grass

not really 3060 is a mid tier card and not build for the upcoming games. Not one game this year will work on 60FPS with this Card. Get used to it. 4070 is expensive yes but not expensive compared to 4080 or 4090. I like AMD but i dont like FSR and i dont like the drivers+ not existing video codec for obs. And thats also why AMD is so unpopular. If the Game runs poorly on 2080 ur CPU is ♥♥♥♥ sry. I run this game on 137 FPS with same Vram and lower core power how is this possible? Yes cause DLSS4 i have like 40FPS more but 80FPS is still good. This game need only 60FPS tbh.
