it wasn't just performance, but also balancing, and even if it is ready they probably didn't bother making a new build for an unplanned beta

The beta wouldn't be updated as that's not possible without diverting some of the team to work on it, and thus taking resources away from the main games development. The beta is the EXACT same build as the first beta

What's the point of the "test" then, apart from trying to lure in more revenue? Only upside of the second beta will be that we'll see more low-poly memes ...
It just proves that you don't care about the PC players ... otherwise you would have announced the testing of the improvements or changes, not the same build that was totally broken on PC, just with an extra monster.

If you watched the community update stream they said they're only considering to do a second test to allow people who missed the first beta get a taste of what the game will be like. If you learned to read or even pay attention in 1st grade you'd know this.

better be running a lot better that the first beta.
i got recommended system requirements. one thing a bit below but well above minimum.
and it ran like crap. no matter what setting i used.

Edit: ok its the same beta. improvements will be in final product onely. why tf even have a other beta then. useless lol. i'll wait and see on release then. i will do thoroughly research before buying.

I am getting a new pc in order to play this game on launch and intend to stream it, and I could only afford a 4060 gtx so now I am worried that even with a new rig I won't be able to play this game. (At least if I can't play this game with the new rig, I will be able to actually okay others game since my current one only has a 1080 gtx. )

and yea, its luring more revenue as I saw here, but the thing is - it would make all the sense to not improve on the demo.
Because the demo is a different build, we would expect them to have two different games ready (even if the demo is smaller, it would be still be two different branches)

if the game is bad at launch we can always refund and vote them down until they fix it.
