The better the performance the better the sales would go, you need to optimize the beta as well. Releasing the same unoptimized beta to the people who don't want to ready anything and just play will result in a bad impression just before the release. It actually doesn't justify you to make lines of explanations, it's just a necessity to do.

They'd probably love to, but launch is coming up and they are probably crunching. Expect a polished demo after release, maybe.

I'm just glad to play in the character creator again
Awesome! I can't wait to run the game at 30fps on modern hardware; see you guys soon.

It's ok, you can pay 2000+VAT € for a RTX 5090 and get 60 FPS with frame gen and "AI" upscaling. :spyro:

Preorders are clearly down on their estimations for them to do a second beta, and rightly so. I have the money sitting in my Steam Wallet and until I see a better build versus the previous beta, as well as a better launch than Worlds, it will continue to sit there.

Performance was only good (for me) in the last beta because of DLSS and Frame Gen, yet the flip side of using this tech is the visual downgrade. Generally the downgrade isn't too bad and games like Cyberpunk still look fantastic. Wilds on the other hand at times looked severely low res and I'm hoping for much better with this next beta. We'll see.

Edit - I probably should have read the dev post instead of skimming over it...

- but please be aware that these improvements will not be reflected in the second Open Beta Test.

Old build incoming!!

your card is bad. I was running it 100 fps max settings with a 4080 super. you cant expect 2025 games to run perfectly on old series cards.

please sit back down before you hurt yourself trying to think. it has nothing to do with the specific card (well, unless they got 10xx series or older). the optimization of the game was literal ass--which capcom is aware of. they even addressed it and said they would try to fix it.

Hopefully we can make several characters (maybe make 9 or 12 slots?), looking forward to the Beta and full release, Happy Hunting!

I will be playing on a 4070 Ti Super, do you think my experience will be similar to yours?
oh good no fixes from the last beta means more hexagon hunting.

I've already pre-ordered the Premium Deluxe Edition. I trust Capcom to not fumble this game, and I know that Capcom knows this game can't fumble or they're gonna really feel it.
ありがとうございます。
I missed the first test phase, I'll make sure I'll get to participate on the open beta test 2!. If it runs well on my PC, I'm surely gonna hit that PRE-ORDER button right away! Happy Hunting!
i hope they gave us echo dragon wave and removed heavy attack from LS and remove rain of arrows on bow lol that was a pathetic attempt to make there own spin on the weapons without being true to ice-borne. Hopefully when i try this mediocre pos again that it actually stays true to the continuing of ice-borne with these exact changes which is very important. i will then purchase the game but if they do not stay true to ice-borne then i will not purchase this mediocre mh game. Furthermore the crafting tree is a pos and needs to be redone its always been trash. every monster should drop a weapon of every class with no meta BS.

How are they going to feel it? You've already given your money to them :lunar2019crylaughingpig:
