As of lately I have been farming 9 star but really for charms. But they do give great EXP.

Plus ......there are far more HR 999 way before I started. I wonder how they got there sooooo fast.

modding games , is almost as old as gaming itself.... or why do you think ppl like rage know stuff and show stuff thats not released yet? same with "Rwatch" they get their stuff either from modding it in or stealing the pictures and stuff from other ppl off of reddit for example, if you look at rage's "new monster" lists its basically a list of DATAMINED monsters off from reddit leaks which are legit and he just stole it to make content, same with "god " roll artian weapons etc thats all modded and ppl know it but dont care

no in mh its against tos, even visual modding , yet ppl do it and still visual modding is seemingly ok at least on pc due to no "harm" and thats what ppl openly af do, you dont see it on other side tho

other things are modded quests etc and such ppl get banned rightfully

People can even modify their damage output. You could be playing with someone that has increased their damage output by say, 20%, and you wouldn't know. Modding has been a thing in MH on PC since the beginning.

I've only got a few monsters left until I've unlocked all the 50 hunt titles.... but last I checked my HR is somewhere between 400 and 500. I've not really been paying close attention. No idea how many things you'd have to fight to hit 999, and honestly I don't want to.
Funny thing... lots of people have been cheesing their HR like they reckon it some mark of prestige to be 999. The irony is because so many people shortcut their way to 999, if anything it is more prestigious to be 933 than 999.... since nobody who was cheesing it would stop there.

Probably the same as the clowns who have 5000 daily Virid Bowfish catches. Yeah right.

Well know this! I am legit and I worked for every HR point. Fail a lot of hunts in between. But when I saw a player in game with those orange HR 999 it lit a fire in me! It was my goal ultimate goal. So if you see Ginyu in game.....know this. I grind for every point legitimately.

ppl cheesing event gravy quest for hr exp with bowgun, but original 8* hunt was so short u can just brain dead play the game and boom hr 999
