Where did you read/hear that World has dedicated servers? They obviously have some servers but when you connect to another user's session it's a peer to peer connection. That's why some hunts can be a flawless experience and others can have the monster "teleporting" around a little or lagging out when running from zone to zone.
Testing the beta, it seemed like it was all dedicated, because when the server did lag, the monster was what lagged, not you. Further, P2P with console people as the hosts, is going to be a nightmare. So I HOPE it is dedicated, but no, I didn't read it anywhere, it was an assumption based on beta moments.
Are you talking about Wilds or World?
I've never seen anyone claim any MH game had dedicated servers. World even tells you when the "host" changes.
