Physical copies arrived at stores. Spoilers inc?

Unfortunately there are some pictures on the internet that a lot of phsyical copies of mh wilds ps5 cds arrived at some stores. There is 10 more days left for the launch, since you can play this game offline, do you guys think people who purchase this game from stores will be able to play the game without any problem or do you think game will require connection to online server first on release date so early playthrough won't be possible?

I hope they can't play the game till 28 feb or we are about to get spoiler bombed.

Yes but those games are pure single player. This is somewhat can require you to be online at the release date first, then you can use offline function. Maybe tho, I might just be copium hard here but i hope that's the case.

He said avoid the internet for 10 days.

pretty sure they said it can be played offline you just lose access to some of the events.

They cant cause they would still need day 1 patch.

Yeah that's a good point, maybe they don't release the update, so when they install the game, the game might error them out with update the game. But there is no update til 28 feb. Hope that's the case.

That's the case. I preordered World on PS4 and it was the same. Couldnt play it earlier :P

Its a monster hunter game, so the story is gonna be worse than any days of our lives episode. And if you happen to get spoiled by a screenshot of a monster... buhu. You will live.

Its monster hunter the story is going to suck anyway. No one really plays MH for the story. We came to this place some ecologocial disaster is prob going to hit and then were going to spend time and resources to figure out whats going on. Thats basically how every MH game has gone. As for monster spoilers if you seen the release trailer the 4 min one you prob seen a vast majority of what will be there at launch already. Like there really is not much you can spoil here thats of any value.

That was my initial reaction to OP's post. The story in MH games is very low tier, and generally is the same crap each game. Its just a way to slowly introduce you to other zones and harder monsters as they are all story locked at first. Mostly so people don't just jump in and get overwhelmed, thats really all the story in MH serves and it does that job well enough.

Instead of avoiding the internet avoid social media. Facebook doesn't know what games i play, and i like to keep it that way. X knows i game, but not what i play. I keep it this way intentionally.

Yeah, that kinda all they do.
Granted they tried harder even since World and then Rise but it's still nothing worth mentioning, it's the background lore that is actually somewhat interesting.

But now that i think about it more seriously.
I guess OP mean spoilers for game mechanics or maybe monsters we will face or new zone and something like that.

Since there is no way people actually care about MH story.

Yes, by spoiler I mean the in game mechanics, in game monsters, other stuff thats not been revealed. There is a reason why they only show 2/3 roster and that's it. We didn't even see majority part of other biomes. Only few scenes for each and that's it. We didn't see surprise monsters, we didn't see some other mechanics, we didn't see some cool stuff according to directors. I don't want to get spoiler about those. Not the story.
