Frame generation ghosting on 1440p ultrawide
Anytime I use frame generation on an ultrawide resolution there is intense ghosting on my character and the sides of the screen. I moved the game to my 1080p monitor and there is no ghosting. Is there anyone else experiencing this, are there any fixes?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 8-Core Processor
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT

In the beta or benchmark?
Need more information.

That is a common known bug occuring specifically in the OBT, and it has been already fixed.

Has it been fixed in current OBT? As I am still experiencing this issue.

When I looked online I saw people sharing a fix for Nvidia GPUs but not AMD.

im getting it on my laptop as well
its not INTENSE and i only get it n see it on my character
playing on a 1600p (i know its not super standard its one step above 1440p) and i get it with or without framegen
theres just weird after image of my clothes
If your not getting near 60 FPS to begin with definitely do not use FG as it will make it look terrible.

The beta basically used FSR2.5 with Framegen, that's not a good thing and that's why it looks as bad as it does.

Did you try Fluid Motion Frames instead? That's supposed to be a 'better' driver level framegen technique for Radeon cards.

Yea I had Fluid Motion Frames 2 enabled but didn't notice an increase in frames really with just that on and I had both enabled, it was still causing a lot of ghosting.
I used FSR at first and the ghosting was really bad. But 2 days ago I swapped to DLSS 4 and use a mod to force frame gen on my 3080 and the ghosting was practically gone. I think the current FRS in the beta is just bad. Prob will be better on launch.

It's fixed in the full game, not the OBT. Try it out in the benchmark, there shouldn't be any ghosting

it was the same beta build as the first one, which is a modified gamescom build so its old.

Fsr being Fsr. Its a problem in nearly every game ive run with my amd card. Hopefully its much better on release.

There is no "forcing" framegen on 30XX cards. You're just rendering the same frame twice. Those mods don't actually work.

Um did you not know FSRs Framegen is designed to work on almost any card out there regardless of brand?

And those mods just trick game into allowing the 30s to enable FSR Framegen with any other upscaler.
For example you can't enable FSR framegen with XESS but the mod allows you to enable it it regardless and it still works the exact same as well.

Which kinda defeats the purpose because if you can hit 60 fps nativly why would you even bother turning frame gen on at that point? There is no real reason for it.
