Can we please remove Denuvo?
MH Wilds is currently the number 2 of steam's global game sales, why we the people paying for the game are getting punished with terrible optimization and bloat caused by Denuvo, something that doesn't even stop a game from being pirated.
MH Wilds optimization is the only thing that could stop this game from it's success

MMO=massively multiplayer online.
There's a reason why I said MMO Multiplayer meaning only multiplayer and only online no offline.

Context matters.

no i dont put those games in the same category of runescape or wow since you mentioned them. the gundam games were just lobby shooters. nothing i saw from mho said mmo to me, id call diablo an mmo before that. dragons dogma is the only game you mentioned id consider calling an mmo

Nope not really unless Empress come's out of retirement which she said she would try to crack Wilds other than that there might be a chance for other crackers to use the beta exe to make a workaround other than that no shot it'l get cracked.
Overall Empress never cracked the newest denuvo version she said it was a pain and she got bored trying to crack it and nobody else can crack it.

You wish lol.
I don't see any torrent of the day 1 denuvo game anymore even since this "Empress" retired.
Anyone else seem incapable of her feats.

So now the pirates usually got to wait much longer to play a denuvo game now.

just no, sorry.

Denuvo came out saying they would benchmark multiple games to prove it doesnt impact then retracted it after they began, because it has a significant impact.

But to hit on monster hunter wilds specifically, this is a cpu intensive game due to the constant simulation, this is why the FPS is already laughably low on systems with a 9800x3d and a 4090, add extra computations that are actually unnecessary will impact more than "1 or 2 frames", its an immeasurable impact because we don't have a denuvoless version to test, but you can be assured it would be quite the difference.

Denuvo is an utter plague, its the modern-day starforce drm and an utter joke, don't shill for it.
Oh, I'm not. I'm just saying that if somewhat competently implemented, it shouldn't be too awful in most cases. I won't lie though, considering the fps on Wilds even during the benchmarks, and the cutscenes kinda bloating the scores, the fps is gonna be ass no matter what. Unless you have a 20k€ PC or better that is. I suppose we'll find out soon enough if they have figured out to implement that abomination better or not.

Right, don't we also have that Enigma DRM in every game by Capcom now too? I'm pretty sure it tanks your fps as well pretty hard, no?

The Enigma DRM doesn't require the internet past the first startup or a hardware change other than that it'l never need the internet connection again.

For example my Steamdeck hasn't been connected to the internet in like a year or something and I can could still run Rise just fine so it's not a server based DRM and performance wise yes it does effect performance it was like a 9% drop in performance for me in Rise, which is why when i found out it could easiliy be disabled I modded it out and disabled it and I got that 9% back in performance immediately after.

Enigma DRM is basically a cheap DRM bottom of the barrel type of stuff a big waist of money if you ask me crackers get past it in less than a hr it's apparently so easy someone just made a tool to do it for them in seconds at the press of a button.

The beta and benchmark don't have denuvo they just run like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because capcom is using quixel for every little rock so it bloats the asset size and bogs down the ♥♥♥♥ out of your cpu. The final product will run even worse mark my words.

Sounds like the devs working on it are used to using nanite where you can throw high poly meshes into it and let it try and figure out what to do to optimize them, even thats a terrible system but this doesn't surprise me at all.
The engine theyre using isnt designed for multiple active npc ecosystem calculations. Its for zombies... legit this is so stupid

Not for big hoard of zombies like Days gone or project zomboid either.
But for smaller group like 10-20 tops at a time.
A far cry from what this game is trying to do.

It becomes significant when the game already runs like garbage.

Denuvo was on worlds for a VERY long time before it got removed. All resident evil games seem to keep it on for about 2 years before removal.

It isn't going away.

Denuvo sucks but it really only ever had one major performance imapct on one game and it was due to a bug
and wiht other games the issue was fixed so fast
