Please, add an option to turn off scoutflies and scoutfly highlights!
In world, it was mildly obnoxious. In wilds, because of the nature of the open map and highlighting every damn bush, its just immersion breaking. I can't imagine all those particles are good on the CPU either.

it dousnt grab your camera like it did in world, so i hardly notice it unless im gathering
Okay... but I'm asking for an *option*, so you could keep it on?

I'll second this. If Capcom wants to ban mods, it needs to ensure we don't need them for basic QoL.

They arnt going to ban mods.

Infact, MHWild will prolly be way more moddable then world due to reframework.

I'd screenshot it for you if I could upload here, but check out the discord: Capcom considers mods illegal content. Right in the rules section.

That has been theyr rules 'forever'.

It is the standard output developers generally give. They really only 'strike' you if your a big youtuber or so and promote them.

Otherwise, they wont.

Wilds has detection for mods and cheats now! If you use mods its gonna put you in the cheater pool if you dont delete your character!

And because inventory is now stored on the servers, if you use cheats to get infinite items, gj you just got your saved put on the cheater pool!

Not even that. Capcom has a very jarring history with mods. Most devs either fully support or fully condemn (most support these days), but Capcom's the company that famously asked for fan submissions for adding to a game (MegaMan Legends 3), yet publishes a poorly optimized MegaMan fan game with streetfoghter content in it, and turns around and puts this in their discord. Capcom is very weird.

Wait, for real? Saves aren't local? You sure it ain't just the beta?

I really hope they don't get heavy handed dealing with mods. Could you use mods and still play with friends at least?

No one really care to strike at the mods unless something big happen.
Like that guy who goes on a big tournament with his nude mod in a capcom's game lol.
Then they tighten their grip for a bit but that's it.

Unless mods hinder their sales somehow, most company just let it be.
As it's not worth pissing your customers off for no benefit.
So as long as people keep it to themselves, there won't be a problem.

Except Nintendo lol, they are a bit special.

The saves are local for the beta as well, pirates have made a offline version of both versions of the beta.

Condemning doesnt mean you cant do it. CC has condemned mods for MHW since the beginning. Nothing happenent.

Nintendo's history explains why they're so paranoid. But Nintendo also doesn't publish games on PC, which is required for modding "legit."
