I played it a bunch, beat everything, made sure my character was ready, and now I'm playing some 4U until the game drops.
In their defense, they correctly point out that the "demo" fails to demonstrate a lot of the core features of the series; you don't get any sort of feel for the grind for crafting, only a handful of meals are available, only the default weapon in each category is available at minimum level, and you only get some extra armor sets that are actually inferior to the default because their resistances make you weaker to the enemies available in the OBT.
You may have played MH for a while, but not MH's demos... I still remember the "kill the wabbit" memes on facebook.
Welcome to the demos of MH. Always been this way. Just now the demo is timed and has a few perks. I agree, it's bad, but it's nothing new.
It's a demo. It says it's a beta, but everything other than the time restrictions is consistent with the notion that this is a demo.
How will I know I like the game unless I play it all to see first, pfft game companies are so inept.
this is a beta using a 1 year old build so it ain't the same thing
CC didnt even intend to hold a seconth beta after november.
u got 2 boss monsters and what 4 small ones and you complaining
