4 days of Beta available for this?
Laughable really... spent more time in character creation than the content they're letting you test. Haven't played a Monster Hunter in quite some time, but expected more from a beta test. Enjoy fighting 3 monsters, no playing around with upgrades, armor, cooking, or any of the actual expected gameplay features of Monster Hunter. You have access to only the base weapons and armor, nothing more. Otherwise, beautiful graphics, enjoyable gameplay, but literally only like 2 hours of beta testing tops.

Were you under the mistaken impression you'd get 4 days of content?
You're getting to play the game for free to see if you like it. They aren't going to give you the whole game and say have fun for 4 days
We're really competing for who can be the most entitled Gamer(tm) today huh

It's a beta. That's all.
I played it a bunch, beat everything, made sure my character was ready, and now I'm playing some 4U until the game drops.

In their defense, they correctly point out that the "demo" fails to demonstrate a lot of the core features of the series; you don't get any sort of feel for the grind for crafting, only a handful of meals are available, only the default weapon in each category is available at minimum level, and you only get some extra armor sets that are actually inferior to the default because their resistances make you weaker to the enemies available in the OBT.

You may have played MH for a while, but not MH's demos... I still remember the "kill the wabbit" memes on facebook.

Welcome to the demos of MH. Always been this way. Just now the demo is timed and has a few perks. I agree, it's bad, but it's nothing new.

It's a demo. It says it's a beta, but everything other than the time restrictions is consistent with the notion that this is a demo.

How will I know I like the game unless I play it all to see first, pfft game companies are so inept.

a demo is usually the final release build without all content, allowing player to experience the gameplay and performance of the final release
this is a beta using a 1 year old build so it ain't the same thing

This is a beta, same beta as november, originally intended to stress test it but due to holidays alot of people couldnt play the beta.

CC didnt even intend to hold a seconth beta after november.

Yeah but that IS a demo in general, not just for Monster Hunter demos either. FF12 playable demo back in the day excluded the core features of the game, couldn't even access the main menu. .hack gu demo, also bare bones. They aren't really meant to shown off the technical elements of a game, even if they're core to that game. Demos are meant to show off combat because that's whats gonna sell a potential customer, and if they love that they'll engage in all the technical gameplay that's core to the game.
