60fps is absolutely fine for Monster Hunter.
Always has been and always will be.

If you own a potato system please just down-res and be thankful - 90% of MH games have been played by millions at 30fps for decades, with potato looking graphics too.

If you own a beefy system and feel disappointed your not hitting your 120fps minimum then you've been spoilt frankly - 2160p 60fps beats 1080p 120fps all day long in games like MH.

If your under 30fps I feel ya pain but at that point just buy a PS5 bro.

Thing that sucks lower resolution won't help much at all same as lower graphic settings because the game is that CPU heavy, for me going from 1440p max settings to lowest 1080p is maybe 10-15fps.
And that's with a RX6800 & 5800x3d my RX6800 just can't use it's full power it's constantly waiting on the CPU.

I feel ya, I play with a 9700KF and I get severely bottlenecked at 1080p with a 4070 ti super.
Valid point indeed, however if it's still hitting 60fps, I just don't see why people kick up a fuss - it's nothing like a FP Shooter, the movements are hella slow especially with GS & Hammer.

Yea it just really suck because if it runs bad for someone there's nothing they can do to improve it much except heavy upscaling then throw frame-gen on top ten it starts to look like a PS3 game lol.
And remember yes MH is a slower pace game but to get the full use out of your weapons it requires timing combos so using FG on top of a already unstable below 60fps from the 30-50s, the impute delay is all over the place and can cause a person on even a gamepad to mess up the timing, I had a guy earlier that had no idea that was the reason why he kept messing up the combos of his weapons he thought it was a game problem then he turned off framegen then it worked fine for him.

Like even World had shoty performance at launch but you could actually tun down settings and double your performance I had a dang RX580-8GB playing at 4K 30fps low/medium setting at launch but Wilds there's not much you can do.

The problem is that the game suggest you use frame generation to obtain 60.
I don't have this problem but I know many others will and do.

It doesn't suggest it it basically begs you you have to say no two times in the benchmark lol.

I wouldn't personally use frame gen I would just down-res even further and turn off upscaling. Frame gen isn't designed to get to 60fps, it should only be used at 60fps and above.

The combo timing is a stretch for me as you can cancel attacks and movements nowadays....maybe pick a slower weapon until it's patched?
Hammer mains are more focused on monster movements than anything else and unless it's lagging to the point of being unplayable, your unlikely to miss.

Not 60, even 30-40 fps is fine for MH game. Gameplay is so fun that 30-40 fps does not feel bad like in other games.

*g* a game looking at best equal to something like forza horizon 4/5
fh4/5 that can do fhd 60fps on i7 3770/xeon e3 1230v2 cpus (4c8t) or similar with something like a gtx 1070 without upscaling and framegeneration
but requiring 2x-3x of that hardware-power as well as upscaling and framegeneration to do it
nice one

The problem with world's settings was simple: There was one single setting was broke.

That was volumetric, but it didnt change the fact a 960 would barely scratch 60 w/o volumetric on low.
agree
