Charge Blade SAED into AED from guard point pathway is so unreponsive.
on the previous tittle, all I needed was pulling analog in the opposite direction and triangle + circle.

For some reason, I have to mash triangle + circle and hope the input registered.

no, it's been changed in general it isn't about hoping at all.

You have to use AED into SAED, or from a Guard point of Perfect guard.

It just has an extra step prior to being able to spam it basically in previous.

I can be done from GP or PG the problem is the input so unresponsive.

the Axe horizontal attack after stored phial pathway also have the same issue.

So frustrating having to mash the button

If you were using Framegen then that was mist likely the cause.

Yea, always wander does input lag affect controller input.

Yea frame-gen if you have a base 60 or 70fps adds about 10-15ms but when you start dropping into the 30-50s for frame-gen the 10-15ms double or even tipple it basically sharply adds more impute, so it'l always feels weird when your jumping around with the non framegen FPS which is why it's recommended to have it locked 60 or 70 to keep the impute stable and frame stable.

So even though MH Wilds is a slower game your doing timed combos with a impute delay that's all over the place so you'l never really get the time down because it's not staying stable.

They completely ruined CB for those who main SAED. Capcom is literally deleting a playstyle to funnel everyone into the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and clunky savage axe style. As someone who plays nothing but CB in every MH title, i hate what they've done to my weapon.

IF you use framegen, it's more or less mandatory to use low latency or reflex.

Yea and that's to help there will alway be added latency but if you base frame the FG is working off of goes into the 30-40s then even if you don't notice it it will definitely start to mess with you because of how unstable it is and you can't really get use to a unstable latency that's all over the place on, that's one of the reason why it's recommended to lock to your lowest base frame before you turn on FG.
Its not you or your fps. The input buffering window has been reduced compared to mhw and mh4u, so you will need to be more careful with your timings.
Mh rise had similar issues on launch where I would feel my inputs being dropped with CB.

some combo is strange like element release slash of slash axe, u need to press element release slash at that start of current swing not at the end.. cos time windows is too tight.
PS. frame gen will messed up your timing. NOT GOOD FOR GAME LIKE THIS AT ALL

Just block an attack and go straight to SAED, it isn't that bad. Would be nice to do it without any outside assistance though
Well for some reason capcom ruined SAED playstyle all together... maybe to compensate for the focus aiming for SAED being too OP... but SAED still emptying all of your phial in one attack that is not even that strong now compared to savage axe with overcharged phial

Yeah but having to rely on the monster for a core part of your weapon is stupid, especially because of how relentless some of these monsters are, by the time you are getting the SAED off after a block the monster is already hitting you, making SAED a completely unusable playstyle, I don’t care if it does less damage or whatever all I care about is not being forced into a certain playstyle with charge blade
