Capcom needs to release a Demo version
Capcom needs to release a Demo version, for me(and possibly others) to drop $70 on Monster Hunter Wilds as neither the Beta version nor the Benchmark is conclusive enough on how the game will run and utilize my system.

If they do that everyone will cancel their pre-orders.

Well I didn't pre-order. I will wait until it releases, but even on release I will not know how the game runs in my system here. A Demo after launch would help people deciding to pick it up or rather run to the nearest Micro Center to pickup a whole new rig before buying.
Is one game really worth an entire rig?
game runs fine take the tin foil hats off lol and people have played the release ver
It's going to be Dragon's Dogma 3. You guys are just coping

I wouldnt say something like "Is one game really worth an entire rig?".

Instead "Look at my whole steam library, There's games I can now run on ultra settings so lets play them"

Or do you just have 1 or two games? ... lol

To add.. if you're just gonna play 1 single game just buy a console obviously?

That is the thing. I am not against buying a new rig, but the issue is even with a 5090 and a i9 15900k the game might not run better. The Beta does only show a simple desert region, I hope we get a jungle region as well... but how will that run like? What happens when you have 2 monsters fighting each other? How well will it run later on when you already struggle to get flat 60 on a non DLSS non FrameGen game?

The Benchmark... is not showing off anything more then that one desert region either, it doesn't even show off a big fight with one or two monsters. I don't know what I should think of it.

The answer is no. Good thing you get more out of upgrading your rig than only being able to play one game ever. You can play olders games better, with little fear of not being able to play new ones for quite a while. You can emulate better, you can use your computer to multi-task better.

I am not arguing you.

I am merely gaving this person a different few of perspective as to why people actually would want to upgrade a rig.

It's obviously simply not gonna be for one single game.... XD

I am not arguing with you either.

I mean I only beat the base games for Monster Hunter World and Monster Hunter Rise, I can still play Iceborne and Sunbreak. I won't run and try to get a brand new right with a 15th gen i9 and a 5090, even if I can offer it. Not for one game. Just like you said it lol.

I just wait for the fallout when Wilds launches. If you really need at least a 40 series GPU, judging by Steams last hardware survey, not that many people have even that, lol.

it's CPU limited, not GPU limited, people are misunderstanding this still?

Hmm recommended is a ntel® Core™ i5-10400 or Intel® Core™ i3-12100 or AMD Ryzen™ 5 3600, I got a 11th gen i7 so I should be golden? For some reason the game still not runs good for me.
