After replaying MH World LR... the Wilds beta felt 'doctored' to make it easier?
Just replayed LR in World. Aside from sharpness it seems every other aspect of the game was made easier in the Wilds beta.

Never got stunned, not once.
Defense, only two moves in the beta were scary, railgun and doshaguma's rajang-esque earthmove
HP and Stamina bars seemed fixed, and more lengthy
Speaking of stamina, Wilds beta I never felt like I was running out, yet with hammer/DBs in LR World it was an issue, and I carted due to mismanagement of it, this never happened in Wilds

Just my 2c

Hammer really did feel like it needed less stamina now that I think about it.

I remember in tri it was the worst. Constantly needed to juice up

Yes, it does feel way easier than any game before it, so I want to believe they over simplified it as to what we call "developer difficult" whereas it's made easier so developers can actually test it without losing time by dying a lot.

If it's how it's going to be in the final build, I foresee a lot of complaints about how easy it is.

You didn't check your gear in the beta I guess, the Hope set came with a significant amount of stun resistance. People that changed armor sets in fact did get stunned. Like the beta came with some significantly strong armor sets to help players. Stamina Surge was also found on several gear pieces in the beta, again not something you typically get in LR. So nothing unsurprising really.

Exactly this, we were overgeared for everything except Ray Dau.

Surprised people didn't notice.

Was too laggy for me to focus much on gameplay lol

As always, I stand by my original stance which you've heard many a times by now, though it isn't exactly wrong to think that it COULD end up being easier overall... But Low Rank is always easy, most of the biggest challenges probably won't even be in the base game (though we'll have to see what event quests and base-game end-game provide)

In addition to the abilities of the hope set, we also had divine blessing, something that you normally don't get until late in the game.

Tell that to the randoms that kept joining my quest that couldn't dodge its super attack… Thank god i figured out how to make a private quest otherwise i wouldn't have beat it.

It's how things are now. Games should be for everyone, if you can die it's gatekeeping.
Rise was already easy, at least the base game is. The difficulty of this game's LR is about equal to Rise's LR village quests.

Reason it was easier is simple. It was a network test. Not a balance beta. They wanted to test if the servers could co-op or if they need to uppdate. They increased every aspect like sheeting. Charging, Stamina etc etc so we could go on with testing.

LR in world was never 'hard' to begin with. Was world your first MH game?

I got stunned once during the playtest. I believe it was a Rey Dau fight, but I can't say with 100% certainty anymore since it's been a little while since the playtest now.

The World betas were also like this, and they also overtuned Nergigante to make him TOO challenging. It's so you can just go play without worrying too much about getting 3-4 shot, unless you wanted to fight the designated "challenging" monster.

Eh we know how it goes anyway. LR won't be hard for any veteran player. HR will feel like the real game. And then they will add master rank in an expansion where it will start to get ridiculous with monsters moving in fast forward while your still playing at normal speed.

Can you point to my post where I said world was hard? Just because I said Wilds beta was easier than World, does not mean LR in World was hard.

Its like saying driving to the store down the street is easier than walking.
OMG, you think walking is hard??!!!! <---- That's you rn
