and the game only ever loads 15 other hunters into your game at any given time when you go back to camp.
hunts are only 4 players max as usual.
First off, 100/100 wasn't really achievable. it was more like 80 max, with only 16 viewable at once. Because you generally couldn't join servers once they had 80 players.

It basically just pulls 15 players from the 100 pool, could potentially be better for automatically bringing players into your lobby if someone quits game or disconnects? That way there will always be enough players to play with in hunts if you're doing multiplayer.
So while you won't be able to "directly" hunt with 99 other players, any of those other players could join your quest, depending on if you allow random players to join.
Overall it should make finding people to hunt with much easier since a public lobby will always have a constant stream of new people joining.
