Well, the hunts are Peer to Peer, so you can check for a ping with 3rd party tools, but i won't leave a guide here, because people may find a way to spoof the IP of others and send bad data over it. I know the "right" people already know how to do so, but that does not mean we have to present it on a silver plate for everyone else.
TLTR: The hunts are Peer-to-peer connection with the quest-host. The further he is away, the higher the ping. Play with friends in your country or are close to you (location wise).
