Rey Dau Stuck Flying In Circles

I was hunting a tempered Rey Dau, set my Seikret to auto path. It kept jumping around one spot, climbing up and down, about 600 away from the Rey Dau. Went their manually to try to get it, but it was in the air near the cliffs, just kind of flying back and forth.

Tried slinging at it, not enough range. Got a heavy bowgun and went back, also not enough range. After around tenish minutes it figured out where it was going, which was where my Seikret had been pathing around. Was able to finish the hunt.

Just a heads up that this can happen.

Happen to me too about a month ago. He was just flyig into a wall. Me and my buddy had to kill him by hitting his wings from a floor up through the floor lol
