Question about armor sets and bonuses
I currently use bow as my main weapon and I really like the extra stamina (set bonus) you get from quipping the Guardian Fulgur set.
Is it worth using upgrade materials on the set in order to keep using it or does it just become obsolete as soon as I can make better equipment in terms of higher defense stats?

The way you phrased your question: the latter.

Nothing wrong to keep using it, but there are better equipment in terms of damage
What you should do instead is equip stamina surge level 3 and add quick shots to your playstyle. You do quick shots with the circle/b button standing, not dash dancing aroun.

Quick shots don't consume stamina so when you do them you'll recover stamina, with stamina surge 3 if you do 2 quick shots it's enough to recover 70% of the stamina from zero.

Alright, thanks for the tip. I'll keep that in mind :lunar2020ratinablanket:
If you are asking if it is the best bang for your buck, no. Later on you will be stuck with 2 pieces of Gore for the affinity (since bow users can't get their affinity from Maximum Might), and most likely 2 pieces of Zoa Shia for Agitator, decoration slots and set bonus. Or if you go for the Convert Element route, 2 pieces of Arkveld. In almost all your builds you'll want to use the G. Arkveld Gloves for 2 point WEx and triple 1 slots for Constitution decorations. You'd have to give up on significant benefits if you want to keep playing with the Fulgur set, while the extra stamina you get is not that beneficial for bow in comparison.

That being said, it's not obsolete if you have fun playing with the set. Upgrade it and play with it. Don't let the meta take that fun away from you. You can always get more spheres to upgrade another set if you want to switch things up.
