anyone else getting ♥♥♥♥ raw performance with relatively high end system i have a rx 9070 xt with boost clock of 3100mhz and i7 14700k and drr5 32gb ram and get like avg 65 fps at 1440p max settings and with RT on if i turn off RT i see 10 fps improvment in mh wilds so strange.

With fsr 4 and FG and RT i get avg 140 avg fps but should not be nedeed but here we are.

u dont need the fsr upscaling just use native fsr but u need the frame gen it is basically required if u wana run into the 100s

I did some research and generally a performance in this game is so random. People with similar specs have vastly different frames per second. I have no idea how it is possible but after watching that digital fountry video about Wilds optimization I am amazed how it is even possible. I know that it is all open world and stuff but some textures look so ugly and there is not that much going on. Maybe they will fix it in the upcoming patches.

It's not strange when you realize that Wilds is a disaster in regards to CPU optimization. Even a 9800x3d will drop a 5090 into the 80s at 1080p in the benchmark tool.

Capcom just screwed up optimization and/or picked the entirely wrong engine for this game.

Use MSI Afterburner and Rivertuner and you see you are CPU bottlenecked (Benchmark + Ingame).

Have a drastic example with a RX7900XTX:

May i ask, whats your wish fps at what resolution?

I would like avg 120 fps without FG or FSR at 1440p and i have msi afterburner and my cpu is most definetely not bottlenecking my gpu i have it running at 5.6 ghz and its fast enough to keep up with the frames my gpu is creating

Do you see that your GPU is always 100% loaded the whole time? If not then its a CPU bottleneck.
What is if you set all graphical settings to minimum? How much fps do you gain?
Unless you have a 5080-5090, you need to enable frame gen in order to get a smooth experience.

Unfortunately, this is becoming the norm in AAA releases. Developers aren't investing time and resources on optimization. They leave that task to upscaling technologies.

There is no way to get smooth performance. Even with a 5090 and 9800x3d you aren't getting perfectly smooth frame times in this game.

Capcom has proven themselves to be among the worst when it comes to optimizations. Wilds is in another league, unfortunately for the wrong reasons. It's got to be one of the worst optimized games in recent memory. The lighting is so ugly and shadows are so sparse that it looks like a 10 year old game at times yet still manages to run horribly.

My system is close in spec to yours and have been getting 100 fps @1440p native.

Your system probably isn't configured properly.
14700K 300W Max with Old bios/Microcode and a 4090

I play with 4k Max settings (High res. text)
DLAA + FG and get between 110-130 FPS (120 FPS mostly)
Without FG i think between 55-75 FPS

With DLSS4 Qual + FG its between 130-150 FPS
never tested it without FG but i think around 65-85 FPS

For me it runs pretty good. Not perfect but i dont get any stutter issues or Crashes and i dont see any ghosting from FG. (and no bad input lag)

Edit:
My GPU is running all the time with 99-100% so i dont think a 14700K is a bottleneck in this case.
I only need around 20%-30% in wilds (CPU)
If a 14700K is a bottleneck in this game that would be crazy.... i dont think so

Ih ave every graphics setting set to ultra or maximum and my gpu usage is 98 to 100 percent and cpu usage vary from 40to 50 percent my cpu is i7 14700k.

Im getting similiar performance without FG and Upscaling but slighty higher fps with them enabled

i have the feeling you confuse total CPU load with core/thread specific load.
Trust me, the game is very much CPU bottlenecked. Its very rare the GPU is 100% loaded the whole time. May i provide an example?

Even in 5760x1080 the GPU does go down to 90% load a lot of times.

Made a little detailed test a while ago:
https://steamcommunity.com/app/2246340/discussions/0/720115720988408422/

Its quite rare the GPU is fully loaded the whole time.

not how that works
