Did the last update make the game worst ?

I absolutely love Monster Hunter, like seriously, it’s the only game I play to relax whenever I get the chance. I even lowered my expectations for a graphic design job just so I’d have more time to play...

But is it just me, or did the last update make the game worse? I’m usually the number one fan telling my friends, “Don’t worry, Capcom will definitely optimize the game,” but…

Since the latest update, my game crashed for the first time, and even during low-tier quests (just minor alphas), the FPS drops are awful.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I literally only use my computer for homework — no other games besides Monster Hunter. I haven’t even touched it in two weeks except for using Word, and now this? I don’t get it...

Update : I've got an i7 and NVIDIA 3070 and I already check all the graphics modifications so the game is playable. I don't want beautifull graphics, I just want to play and kill monsters ;(

The game launched in a terrible state and Capcom has done nearly nothing to address it. It's disgraceful.

You can try deleting your shader cache and see if that helps. There are instructions online for doing that if you search.

Also make sure to make regular backups of your save files because they game really likes destroying and corrupting people's saves.

Besides deleting your shader cache it's mostly just a bunch of placebo but hey, hope it helps.

Even if we pretend everything in that 'guide' works it just means Wilds is a huge POS.

90% of that guide is nonsense outside of editing the memory page file which was already a known issue from MH:rise.
