Light bulbs *ding* Conker reference lol
Do anyone, anywhere... Knows 100% for sure what those light bulbs in Monsters means when you check your map? All I can find is everything but what it may be, it seems everyone has a different take on the matter, even 3 A.I.s got confused when I ask them, they don't know either. Some people or A.I.s say it related to the main story, or a unique animation, or unique loot, or unique interaction, or unique this or that, but still can't tell what really is, do you know?

Thanks in advance.

Also interested in the actual answer for this, I've been assuming that it means the monster has more rewards, as is stated when it's presence is announced in the log.

I noticed these but never put much thought into it but I did find this:

For a time I thought it was related to the crows everyone is talking about but that may be a hard no, cause believe it or not not once using my binoculars I seen any potential crown in a monster, all binoculars tells me is the name of the monster.

I confess I've hardly paid attention to the Lightbulbs and assumed they simply indicated a "new" hunt target from the last time you've checked the environment overview. They may also indicate a hunt target that has special conditions attached to it, such as bonus Zenny or half the usual time limit. Such hunts do exist, but I rarely actually look at the quest parameters before flinging myself off the Seikret and into combat.
