Is the game still running like s*** ?
hey i really wonna try MH:Wilds but all im hearing is thatt it runs like crap on low to mid-range PC's

i have a 3080 Laptop GPU (8Gb VRAM) with a Ryzen 7 (5000 Series)
is it worth it for me to try to run this game with my setup or will the bad optimization ruin the experience with low FPS and stuttering? because tbh im not willing to play the game on Low Settings, because the grafics dont look THAT GOOD (in correlation to what it demands in PC Specs)

im saving up for a new PC that im going to buy in 3-4 months (im planning for a AMD 9070 or 5070ti setup)
should i wait for my new PC or is it worth it to play it on my 3080 Laptop (the Laptop version of the 3080 is comparible to a 3070 how i understand it)

With that setup, don't bother. You can always try the game for 2 hours and refund it. After the patch, a week ago, my game crashes constantly and had become unplayable. They managed to screw it up even more.

Yes.

It's still running terribly and barely anything has been done.
I have an RTX 3060TI and with some tweaking of the settings I can run most settings on high while getting 40-60FPS. It's definitely probably playable on your setup after some tweaking. The game does get some occasional lag spikes after the update, but that's only immediately after starting up the game I noticed. As another pointed out, you can try it for a few hours and see if you can find something that works for you.

Edit: Processer is a Ryzen 5 5600G

Yes. And it will continue to run like ♥♥♥♥, Capcom is very unlikely to ever address these issues. I don't understand why some people think they will, they have tried their best to ignore the problem and not talk about it which is a clear indication they have no plans to address performance and are just hoping people will stop talking about it eventually.

And people will stop talking, because people are all already dropping off faster than joining this mess.

There haven't been any significant improvements in performance since launch.

Lack of things to do doesn't help either...

Just like with Rise, the game might be worth the money after it's actually finished. Right now it's not worth it at all.

Still waiting for that supernatural day 1 patch that fanboys were adamant was coming. They can't fix RE Engine being used outside of what it was designed for, btw.

We were promised a day one patch that would fix all! We were told the beta was 2 years old!

The lies some people tell themselves. Scary to think about how these people must be the same in other aspects of their lives that are way more important than videogames.

I mean... I think anybody with a sound mind knew this was going to happen, I wouldn't even call that a prediction it was self evident. IT was pure cope from the side of people claiming it will be better, the things people will tell themselves to avoid buyer's remorse...

See, you should be like me, I bought it KNOWING it will run like ♥♥♥♥ and I was not disappointed! :mhwhappy: But only because I knew I have an overpowered enough setup to brute force playable frame rates.
