You don't have to register, it's an open beta so you can just download it when the beta is active or preload it a day before.

The beta will become active on steam. I never uninstalled the beta, so for me it's just to wait for an update.

It's not quite the same, more monsters to hunt.

Already played it. New monster fight is alright. It's a pretty low level monster so I don't think people will really care about gycperos.

There's another that haven't been revealed yet. It's presumably Arkveld, but we don't know for sure. We usually get to fight the flagship before release, so there's that to consider.
