Question about character creation

I wasn't planning on playing the beta, I like waiting for the full release. But if I can save my character from the beta, then I would just get it to make my character in advance and just start playing on release day (it takes me quite a while to make a character I like).

TLDR; can I keep the character I make in the beta?

Not only can you bring your beta character into the full game (you bring the whole save file), but in the beta you have infinite do-overs if you don't like how your character looks; in the retail game, you will need to earn a fairly rare resource to change your character appearance.

You can't bring over the whole save data, all the items and everything you get in the beta is lost. The last commenter was wrong in that respect. They are correct however that your character's appearance can be carried over.

Ahh my mistake. I misremembered. It would appear that you cannot, in fact, carry over the full save data.

Yep, and this is pretty much what I'm gonna do in the next beta. I'm just gonna go nuts on the customization and actually make the character I want.

Would be a tad silly if you could. We used HR weapons in the beta xD.

Also, we have a ton of supplies. It would be pretty weird if we got like a thousand of all kinds of useful items.

Odd could of sworn the weapons were+ weapons. My mistake then.
