charge blade sucks, needs a complete rework

it's too unpractical , by the time you charge your shield and you're ready to use it's best attack with any other weapon you would've dealt more damage in less amount of time ,

all this file charging and file storing is just wasted time, it needs to be simplified, most monster are too mobile for all these button inputs and long animations

Charge Blade is one of the strongest weapons in the series what are you on about? I've been using it since it's inclusion in Monster Hunter 4 and the thing is a massive powerhouse at all levels of play: I'd argue it needs a nerf half of the time because it's either way too overtuned or is intruding on hammer in the case of it's original incarnation. The only game where it felt weak was in generations but even then it's not substantially weaker to warrant dropping it.

Ngl that sounds like a skill issue, Been using CB for hundreds of hours now and never had an issue with it. Even when i first picked it up it was really simple to use.

CB is everything i hate about GS: painfully slow ultimate attack

but with CB is much worse since it requires multiple steps before you can even do the painfully slow ultimate attack

the ultimate attack should come out fast.... having to press Y+B 3 times after you went to all that trouble of storing all those files is just stupid

this thing made me want to rip my hairs out, every time i was about to land the ultimate attack Velkhana was like "nope i'm just gonna run forward hi hi"

and imagine playing witout the palico and the monster is always focused on you , good luck finding an opening for the ultimate attack against 90% of the monsters.

Guy that makes guides says it's one of the best weapons in the game but It's a very technical weapon so you probably just having a skill issue. Maybe watch his guide and you'll improve?

most monsters are not just gonna sit there for you to press Y+B at the same time 3 times

and even the recovery animation is painfully slow which is so annoying and gets me hit alot

CB is in serious need of quality of life improvements, at least make the recovery animation of AED faster , or make charging up all the files require less actions

Sounds to me that the CB just isn't fir you like I think the Bow, Glaive, light BG & GL are trash because I don't like them but you don't see me asking for entire reworks because I know they don't need it there just weapons I don't like to play with meanwhile I find the GS incredibly easy to play same as Lance & CB & SA I find them to play as well.

I have friends that main it and they don’t have any issues and say that it’s fine. I’ve never really seen anyone complain about the state of CB.

For a second I thought you would of cared to respond to my entire post but instead got hung up on just the first tiny bit of it. There is no point in conversation on forums when people talk in quips and hangnails so i'm just not going to bother anymore.
